Can anyone point me to a ready to use xmltv.xml file download for UK tv stations?

you can get the Radio Times listings via the XMLTVGUI grabber:

If you pay the DigiGuide subscription then you can get data for a lot more channels and then use a plugin to get the data via XMLTVGUI as well.
