Low Headphone Volume

Low Headphone Volume
When I watch a movie through vlc player, ect with my headphones I am able to turn the volume up loud however with WMC the volume won't go nearly loud enough. Any way to boost the volume?

Go to Control Panel | Sound
Doubleclick your active device
Go to the TAB, Enhancements
Check the box for [x] Loudness Equalization
Doubleclick your active device
Go to the TAB, Enhancements
Check the box for [x] Loudness Equalization
