I just installed the latest f/w, and the first thing that jumps out at me as a big change is the web interface. They completely changed the layout/design of the page. It took me a minute to find everything that I was used to seeing. (Status menu, Logs, etc.) The background color of the page isn't the boring dull gray anymore either.

I also noticed that when viewing the channel listing, it notes which channels are copy protected (DRM), and every channel that is copy freely is a hyperlink. I haven't tried yet, but I assume these hyperlinks will launch an http stream to watch Live TV.

For good measure, I started a channel scan - so as soon as that is complete, I'll give the new HDHomerunVIEW app another try. And of course, I'll make sure that this version didn't introduce any unwanted bugs for my normal WMC functionality.

quick update/edit: I just did a quick test on WMC, and functionality seems fine. If anything, it feels like channel tuning is just a touch quicker than it was before the update. I have a couple recordings schedule for tonight, so we'll see how that goes.
