Video stutter help

Have a htpc hooked up to a 50 inch plasma with no issues and now have a 65 inch and video stutters choppy on live tv and DVDs. I do see the 29/59 as well as stated in some forums. I have a galaxy gt 220 is this a video card issue? If so any advice on a card to get. If I can't resolve this ill have to return the tv

Ever thought about exploring the world of extenders? The XBox 360 works great. It can be found fairly cheaply now. If you have a decent router, you can even use it wirelessly for a short distance. I run an ethenet cable from my router to an XBox 360 at my nearby plasma and use an Xbox 360 upstairs wirelessly to display on a new Samsung. I got a couple of small XBox remotes to operate the Media Center interface. Almost all of my viewing is of recorded content. I seldom watch live TV.

I'll throw a guess out there. If the HTPC plays fine on the 50" and not on the 65", I would dig in to the settings on the 65". What is the model number of the 65"?

It's a Sony KDL65W850A.. I tried turning some settings off like motion flow but not sure what settings would contribute to this. Also to reply to roginator I've also used a linksys extender and I see the same issues

Linksys to Sony KDL65W850A? or Linksys to something else?

I think I might have found something you could try.

1-Go into the Nvidia controll panel and manually disable 3D. This will allow you to have a 23hz setting in the 2D section (but don't touch it yet).
2-Next follow these directions from the Sony manual.
3-You might end up using the 23hz setting, but you wont even see it if you don't disable 3D in step 1.

From what I read, the GT 220 is unreliable to switch from 3D to 2D on it's own.
