Can I use a Bluetooth headset with Xbox extender?

I recently bought my first XBox360. It's an XBox360-S. Is it possible to use a Bluetooth headset when using the XBox as an extender?

Also, does the XBox have a built-in Bluetooth adapter like the PS3 does?

NO. the Xbox uses a proprietary communication. You would need to buy one that specifically says it works for xbox 360. The 360 doesnot use bluetooth.

OK, so does one of those proprietary wireless headsets work when you are in "extender" mode?

There is an XBox headset that has a switch to flip between bluetooth mode for your phone and XBox mode for the proprietary connection:

I have one and it works OK. Wish th bluetooth range was a little better though.

if you're trying to get media center audio through the headset, the answer is no. i had that same headset linked above. it still works for party chat while in media center, but you're not going to get the tv audio to come through it.
