More pointless crap to annoy Motz: These (highlighted in red) serve no purpose seeing as the title background is already colored to the metadata of the show genre; and just look ugly:


Plus I just saw ^ the title background is like 1 pixel short horizontally of covering the entire show image like it should - GET YOUR GAME TOGETHER MAN!

For some reason, the search button is always highlighted/selected by default when I enter the app. Doesn't do that in other apps like Netflix which have the same search button in the same location; so I assume this is a MMC bug:

I will be removing it in the next version.

It was there before i made the background color of the text the color of the show....

No clue why I didn't notice it in the beta/initial release. I barely end up using it TBH. Mostly Android.

I love having it on my HTPC so when i go to the home screen i can see upcoming recordings on the live tile.

Yeah I just opened it up again today checking out the new VEVO metro app (which is pretty slick). Other than that > straight to desktop. But then again you got a Surface IIRC and I'm just on my desktop.

My surface is just for testing, over there in the window currently Mine is on my HTPC, but yeah I am mostly on the desktop as well to be honest. Same at work. All the Windows Store apps are pretty great on a touchscreen tablet or laptop.
