Scandisk Fixed My Crashes?

#1

Post by Bee_Dee_3_Dee » Sat Mar 02, 2013 2:19 pm

I Just ran scandisk on my RecrdedTV Drive.

Does anyone know if the following Log entry suggest my Crashes are finally over?

(See the line that says: "Correcting errors in the Master File Table (MFT) mirror.")

(It happens mostly while playing Recorded Shows and or Live TV in WMC.)

Thanks? :)

Without any more information available, the conclusion that I'd jump to is that the crashes caused the inconsistencies, not that the inconsistencies caused the crashes.

192.168.200.1 is the default IP address FCC or the PCIe version of the InfiniTV card - you shouldn't have to change it unless you have the USB version.

(Edit - I missed a negative)

12:21 AM, So now that ALL partitions have been checked maybe the correction on the C drive that I forgot to check will make the difference. And no more Freeze-ups or BSODs. It may have been eons sense I last ran scandisk on the C Drive.
