I have an ATI 750 PCIe tuner and a ATI 750 USB tuner in a machine with Win 7 (64) MCE. Both tuners are found in setup and record but are listed only as ATI #1 and ATI #2.
Is there any way to determine which is the PCIe card and the USB device?

Go to Tasks--->Settings-->TV-->TV Signal-->Digital Tuner Diagnostics. Select a tuner, then select Digital Tuner Diagnostics again. The type of connection should be displayed. I am not sure if these steps work with a non-CableCard tuner, but it is worth a try.

None of my tuners are cable card. I may be forced to go Cable card sometime but we currently get unencrypted QAM w/o any kind of box. In other words, I just connect the cable from the wall directly to the tuner(s).
I don't see a Digital Tuner Diagnostics option under TV Signal.
I have the option to Scan for more channels or Set Up TV Signal.
Do I have to start the Set Up from scratch? or might this just be an option if you've a cable card?
