A place to talk about GPUs/Motherboards/CPUs/Cases/Remotes, etc.

What do you mean it doesn't work? As in, what happens?

Hi Lee,

I have the vertex2 60Gb drive, and its working fine with S3 - only problem I have now, is the pc wakes up that fast, and goes into media center, that its not actually found the network shared drive where most of our recordings are held... have to use MST to slow down the startup of MC to compensate!

Hi Tony

You still havent said what "doesnt work" means. Does it not go to sleep? Does it not wake up? Does it wake up immediately after putting it to sleep?

Open a command window and use the command powercfg.

powercfg -lastwake :tells you what last woke the computer. Do this if it keeps waking up unexpectedly.

powercfg -requests :tells you whats keeping it from going to sleep. Do this if its not going to sleep after a recording .

There is no reason an SSD should give you sleep issues. Mine is working fine.
