Problems with Hauppage IR Blaster

Hello All,

I have been having some problems setting up the IR Blaster in my Hauppauge 2250 TV tuner. I am attempting to receive satellite with my BellTV (Canadian sat. provider) 4100 receiver. I am able to receive the output of the STB when I manually tune to the S-Video input of the tuner but I cannot, for the life of me, get the hauppauge BlastCfg.exe program to control my STB. I run through the "learning" steps and the program reports that it has successfully "learned" the power button, however, when I try to send a "power on" command to my STB I get no response.

As a test, I tired the IR Blaster with another STB (a Motorola cable box) and I was able to successfully control it, so I know this problem is specific to my Bell 4100 receiver. I would greatly appreciate any advice that you may have for me.
