I am tech savvy for the most part...but this one is stumping me.
All machines are Win7 currently, with exception of test computer Win8 upgrade. I have a 2tb HDD in an USB external enclosure attached to my ASUS RT-56U router. Simply plug and play for Windows 7. Recognized on all computers as a network drive, which acts as my media server.
Win8 machine, which recognized drive prior to upgrade, just flat out won't find my external drive. Sees my HTPC, etc, but not the network share drive.
Any experts yet. What damn setting am I missing? Ideas?
Windows 8 ruins my network HDD
