Yes, you can uncheck any channel that you don't watch/record and they will no longer appear in the guide, nor will it download guide data for those channels (saving resources). Note that now that you've set a new baseline for your lineup (by pressing the "Save & Execute" button) it should now automatically update the guide every day without you having to use the EPG123 Configuration GUI again (until the lineup changes enough to require it again).
