My last successful schedule update was 2 weeks ago. I didn't realize that until a couple of days ago & now I have no schedule.
I updated to EPG123 version1.7.2 today & tried to run a manual update. That's when I saw the date on the epg123.mxf file was 1/27. The date on the hdhr2mxf.xmltv file is the same. Right or wrong, I then tried to independently run the hdhr2mxf.exe file.
Here's what my log file says after doing these two things.

How did you independently run hdhr2mxf? What arguments did you use?
Did you happen to have the xmltv file open in another program that would prevent hdhr2mxf from writing over it?

Ran hdhr2mxf in a command shell with no arguments. Wanted to see if my SiliconDust subscription was OK. I was properly billed for it at the end of Dec.
xmltv should not have been open in another program as far as I know, but I can't be sure. What application(s) use(s) it?

Since it is installed in the program files folder, without arguments, it will try to write to that folder and fail. Run it as you did, but add -update as an argument. It should then write to the epg123 output folder.

I guess I must not have rebooted after downloading the new version. Duh. Once I did, that seems to have fixed my problem. Sorry to have bothered you.
I was using version 1.3.3.30 for about two years with no issues. I do like new icon in & functionality from the System Tray, though.

It's not so much the reboot as it is allowing the scheduled task to run which includes the -update argument in the call to hdhr2mxf.exe.

I had the same problem where updates from Silicon Dust stopped after 1/27. An upgrade to the 1.7.1.2 beta version and manual run of epg123_update from Task Scheduler fixed that issue but I found I also had to reboot before the updated listings displayed on my XBOX 360 extender.
