Duplicate EPG-ID's in multiple linups
Is EPG123 smart enough to only add unique EPG-ID's to the XMLTV file (omitting all duplicates from multiple linups)?

Yes. For stations that are present in multiple lineups, the channel entry in the xmltv file will look similar to the following:
The important thing is the channel id, in this case, is EPG123.42676.schedulesdirect.org which is the same across any/all lineups.
Code: Select all
<channel id="EPG123.42676.schedulesdirect.org">
<display-name>KVOADT</display-name>
<display-name>KVOADT (NBC)</display-name>
<display-name>4.1 KVOADT</display-name>
<display-name>4.1</display-name>
<display-name>1004 KVOADT</display-name>
<display-name>1004</display-name>
<display-name>NBC</display-name>
<icon src="C:\ProgramData\GaRyan2\epg123\logos\KVOADT_d.png" width="278" height="260" />
</channel>

Thank you so much for the quick reply. Also, I just wanted to thank you directly for making such an irreplaceable app. I had no idea EPG123 even existed. I was using the text-only guide2go app on Windows until just yesterday. Thanks for all your hard work maintaining this app.

Yah, marmei did a decent job with guide2go and xteve (which I use for TiViMate), but epg123 does some things better. Particularly in selecting images for a program. It has been a while since I looked at guide2go, but building the file using GO and then everything being run/configured in a shell is a bit of a hassle.
Enjoy, and thanks!
Enjoy, and thanks!
