New User - Problem with Silicondust program schedule and EPG123

#1

Post by Ronwmc » Sun Mar 15, 2020 1:29 am

Just had to change from using the Windows supplied listing service - i subscribed to the Silicondust service... have loaded EPG123 - it seemed to work fine, it initially loaded the the listings and imported them - but it is not updating them. It turns the computer on at the scheduled time, and does something... I have the client set for full mode... not sure what I have done wrong... Help!

The log will probably tell you what is going on, but my first guess would be you created the task to use epg123.exe and not hdhr2mxf.exe.

In the client, check the text box beside the 'Automatch' checkbox. If it points to the epg123.exe file, then you will need to delete your task, click that text area and select the hdhr2mxf.exe file, and recreate the task.

For an immediate update, go to the Start Menu->EPG123->HDHR2MXF Update link.

You are correct - the text box shows the epg123.exe. file. I will change it and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks!
