I have win7 system with dual tuners (PCIe card and USB tuner) with OTA recording. It starts to record and shows length of 63 minutes but stops recording after 10 - 20 minutes. I turned off power mgmt, tried it with one tuner, disabled Malawarebytes, changed the Media Player buffer size, and still have the issue. I reset the TV tuner with WMC setup multiple times with no luck.
It works ok for some shows, but stops for some shows on the same channel.
Any ideas for a fix?
Thanks in advance,
Purpleb

Does it give you an onscreen error message when it stops? Like no signal or no tuner?

No message at all. It only started it when I did OTA and dual tuners. I had cable with Hauppauge 2650 and no issues. My PCe card and USB tuner are both Hauppauge devices. I also moved to the LAV filters from MCE default but that did not help.
I just did the removing of MCE from Win7 and reinstalled it to see if that helps.
I have another system but do less recordings in the same configuration and no issues with it.

What does the recording history log show for the failed recordings? Also you should check the Windows event logs for anything happening at the time the recordings prematurely end.

checked the logs and it shows recording for 63 minutes. I am now trying an external USB HD drive as my recording drive and see what happens tomorrow.
