Movie Meta Data

#1

Post by Dodds » Sat Sep 02, 2017 10:58 pm

Is there a method to get EPG123 to provide Meta Data in the Stored "Movies" listing in Windows Media Center? I know it can be done by moving the all the movies to "Recorded TV", but it overloads my brain due to the shear number of listings when looking for recorded TV programs.
To date, I have not found an easy or reliable method to get Meta Data for my stored movies. Blank colored boxes are really boring.

Not from EPG123. It is not aware of what is in your libraries. Have you looked at Recorded TVHD? I think it might work and is free now.

Yep, RTVHD will do this for you. It actually replaces the Recorded TV and Movies parts of Media Center with a much richer UI.

It went free because the developer ceased developing it. However he was coaxed back recently to update an API it uses (currently in beta).
Are you a Recorded TV HD user or want to give it a try? Check out the new community-made update; Recorded TV HD v2.1.1
