Some Channels missing Data
Hello, This is my first time posting a problem here.
I installed EPG 1-2-3 v1.0.2 on Feb 6, 2017 and it has worked perfectly until now. I have noticed that my local ABC Station has 'To Be Announced' posted from 4/21/17 at 2:00 AM until 5/3/17 1:00 PM. My Local Fox Station is 'TBA' from 4/21/17 2:00 AM until 4/24/17 4:00 AM. Then again goes 'TBA' from4/30/17 1:00AM until 5/5/17 1:00PM. I have tried to manually updated the guide data, but that did not help. Please advise me as to what course of action I should take to correct this issue.
Thank you

A TBA like that is very unusual ... in fact, I have never seen that with Schedules Direct data. Are you sure you are looking at epg123 guide data and not Rovi?tomlando wrote:Hello, This is my first time posting a problem here.

How to tell between Rovi and EPG123: look at the language of a program in the guide... if it says 'English' it is epg123, if it says 'English - United States' it is Rovi.

I do not know where to find the language selection, but when I go to Settings, TV, Guide - About Guide, it says:
Guide end date: 5/6/2017 4:30 PM
EPG123 Lineups with Schedules Direct
ID: 42
TV Signal: Digital Antenna (ATSC)/ ETC. ETC....
Language: English
End Date: 5/6/2017 6:00:00 PM
EPG123
ETC, etc.....
is that what you are referring?

If you look at the zap2it guide on the net for your location is it correct? You may need to file a ticket with SD. Also did anything change recently in your service area (channels changing affiliation or some such)?

To see the language I am referring to, select any program in the guide and view the program details. At the bottom of the program synopsis, there are the genres, CC if applicable, and the program's language.tomlando wrote:I do not know where to find the language selection ...

So, yeah ... you're on epg123. I'm actually really surprised on the TBAs.tomlando wrote:OK, it says 'English' Only
So recommend what stuartm said and check the zap2it (screener) listings. If they are different, than you have to perform a database rebuild.

Please open a ticket at the Schedules Direct website so that I can pull your lineup and see if there's another issue with the upstream data.tomlando wrote:OK, it says 'English' Only

The Zap2it guide has programs listed for the times that I am showing TBA

RKulagow of Schedules Direct checked the raw data for my listings and found that their data is good. It was really great that he helped me out right away, thanks! So my data must have been corrupted. I need to flush my existing data and I guess while I am at it I should probably update to the latest version of EPG123. If there is a link to explain how I would do that or what else should be done I would appreciate it.

Well, Today i turn on the TV and checked the guide and the 'TBA' issue has been corrected. I had done nothing...not even restarted my 24/7 HTPC. I don't know What, Where, When, How or Why, but thank you to the people here who answered and assisted me.
