I just did a fresh install of windows 7 64 with full windows updates. System info: Z170 mb, Sandisk Boot SSD, WD mechanical HD for recordings, Hauppauge quad tuner . Cleveland WOIO CBS 19 won't tune in for me. I'm getting full signal strength, but the screen stays blank when I tune to it and eventually gives me a no signal message.
WMC wrongly detects woio 19 as digital 24.1. The repeater that I need is 10.2. I've disabled the WOIO 19.1 that WMC detected and manually added 10.2. It shows up in EPG with the correct 10.2 frequency and full correct info. From program guide, when I edit channel > edit sources all four tuners show the proper 10.2 at 100% signal strength.
EPG123 fills in the guide data perfectly for all channels including WOIO, but I still can't tune anything in on it. I wasn't sure where to change things in EPG123 main or client so I did it all my tweaking in WMC.
As an experiment, I installed the Hauppauge WinTV8 and it was able to auto detect and tune all my locals including WOIO at 10.2.
Not sure what I'm missing. Any help would be appreciated.

According to Wikipedia WOIO carries CBS on 10.1 and MeTV on 10.2 which are you trying to get? You say 19.1 should be 10.2 but that seems unusual, 19.1 would normally be 10.1
and 19.2 on 10.2
and 19.2 on 10.2

I'm trying to get the main cbs station 19.1. I've seen it listed on most pages as 10 or 10.1 but rabbitears.info as well as a couple other sites I can't remember lists it as 10.2. I just manually added 10.1 and 10.3 but I have the same problem with both of them. All show 100% signal edit channel > edit sources (assuming that it's actually relevant) but none will actually tune the channel.
My last HTPC lost it's SSD a few weeks ago. I remember it taking something strange to pick up WOIO, but that drive is DOA so there's no way to see what I did before.

How are you manually adding the channel? 10.2 is not a valid physical channel.
You should be adding Digital TV channel 19.1 on Assigned Frequency 10.

WOIO is physical channel 10 with a virtual channel 19... so when you manually enter the channel into WMC, since it is a VHF channel you must, you will use 19.X for the Digital TV channel and 10 for the assigned frequency. You can refer to the epg123_guide linked above, page 10.
I think a lot of confusion people have with this is that most TVs will use the physical channel number along with the digital subchannel number in their channel numbers.

That's for all the help. I've been adding and removing channels several times a day for a couple weeks now but you guys finally set me straight. I guess following directions isn't my strong suit. I'm recording for the next 30 mins, but now I can tune to WOIO again from the guide. I'll mess with the the guide settings shortly and get the updated listings, but It seems like everything is on the right path at last.
Thanks again.
