I am on v0.9.9 Can I upgrade to v1.1.3?

So, I have been using v0.9.9 and it has been great. I have been noticing some oddities and thought I'd catch up.

The standard upgrade is to replace the binaries.

Would that still work if going from v0.9.9 to v1.1.3?

I looked at doing the version progressions one at a time, but when I tried to grab the 7z of v1.0.0 I get an 404 error page not found. I really do not want to start over.

Help!

:)

I've removed a lot of the binaries from the download section of the website... 1.0.0 being one of them. You can go straight from 0.9.9 to 1.1.3 as long as you use the utility as well.

Took a look through all the updates from 0.9.9. Something to be aware of is the include/exclude option that I added in 1.0.0. You'll need to open the epg123 GUI and verify/set the Include option for your lineup. If you don't, it will be quickly apparent when it downloads 0 channels.

I assume the verify/set the Include option is in V1.1.3.

Ah oh, Utility? No utility in v1.1.3. I downloaded what versions were available and found a epg123utility.exe in the v1.1.0 package. Is that the one?

BTW, I love this application! I want to thank you for being so amazingly proactive in fixing a major issue MS created.

The include option is in v1.1.3 as well (page 5 of the guide).

The utility was originally included in the 1.1.0 version package, but after that is a separate download. A link is available on the download page.

What odities are you experiencng in 0.9.9? I'm using the same version and only have one recent issue, which isn't a real problem: sometimes auto-update fails but within a day or two recovers.

I firmly believe that if it isn't broke, leave it alone!
