So, is it typical to have Rovi data still in the guide after switching to EPG123? I have been testing it, after deleting the ehome folder, and notice quite a few peculiarities.
Some screenshots attached show this for the movie Crazy People, on March 31, on channel 225 RETRO here in Comcast Boston. Old refers to old setup with Rovi, new to the one with EPG123:
old.jpg: shows the synopsis under the old.
new.jpg shows synopsis under new and full plot description (missing in old).
new-review.jpg shows synopsis bottom saying Rovi as source and review from Rovi (missing in old)
I have also seen Rovi entries with an AMG logo in "data provided by", at the bottom of synopsis.
In the new setup, I have disabled WMC checking for artwork, updates and optimization but there may still be old data mixed in? Or, as we are getting data from TMB, maybe they use a variety of sources, including Rovi?
