I'm trying to get my hands on the WuselEPG program to see how it works, but from what I have seen, this may be your problem with having no guide images.cmal wrote:well, I'm using "WuselEPG" up to now and have the Movie Guide... WuselEPG is using "TV-Movie Clickfinder" Lineups as a data source (data is stored in an Access database and is converted); it contains also a limited supply of Pictures, but no covers; lately the supply of covers through external sources broke down, therefore I have only generic/blank covers; so, it's pretty much useless; that's why I was looking for something else;
The movie guide is only available for certain countries/regions ... but there is a way to cheat it. Change registry entry below:cmal wrote:I think it is a matter of the EPG (items are marked as "movie" ; cover is present) whether the Movie Guide is created; therefore again the question :
which specific piece of Software (module) is responsible for the cover art download?
Code: Select all
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings\MCE.GlobalSettings]
"systemGeoISO2"="US"
That is correct... everything is working here. I suspect the "updated" MXF file created by EPG123 did not get imported into the guide database. That would explain why the configuration shows one thing while the client the another. To be sure the MXF file is imported, you can use the [Manual Import] button in the client to force it and then see if the missing stations are available.cmal wrote:to the lineups: so, you have the two lineups added, selected some channels from the first and then added a few more from the second, which are not present in the first, "save&execute"... all of them are shown in the Client? even if you later add some more channels in one of the lineups, which is not present in the other?
I mean, you have seen the screen shots, I'm not imagining this... what can be the problem on my side?
