Guide data missing from some channels (used to be there)

#1

I have several channels that no longer have any details in WMC - no channel identification and no guide data. The channels initially worked fine, but recently this changed and I am not sure where the disconnect is happening. One example is HBO Signature HD. The channel I am using for this from Comcast is 1806. When I look at the lineup in EPG123, it shows CallSign: HBOSGHD; Channel 1806; StationID 59363; Name HBO Signature HD. I don't see anything 'wrong' anywhere but the data for that channel is just missing in WMC. Looking for help troubleshooting this.

Thanks.

Fixed it in the client tool (manually subscribed), still not sure how it ‘broke’.

This will happen when something about the station has changed. If the station changed channel numbers, or the station ID changed, the guide data will disappear. The "original" station will no longer exist since its identification is based on the lineup, station, and channel number. The "new" station will be created, but it is not linked to the channel unless you have automatch enabled. Since you didn't have automatch enabled, you had to manually subscribe the channel to the station.
