9 out of 10 channels not updating

Help! Only 2 of my 10 channels that I have configured is updating, although the initial download worked fine (I received 14 days of data). I have tried running it manually in the GUI and using Task Scheduler with the same results.

I am using the Freesat listings and have configured it to only download 10 channels to keep it simple. I cannot use Automatch as the Call Signs provided by WMC are often different, but I am pretty sure that I have configured everything correctly. I have checked the log file and everything looks fine, there are no errors or warnings.

I have loaded the EPG123.mxf file into XML Notepad, and the only data that appears to be updating are the 2 channels, so it's not the import into WMC that is failing.

Any help would be much appreciated as I now only have 5 days of data left.

Okay, I'm assuming what you mean by not updating is like the below where 8 of the stations have "To Be Announced" starting around Saturday 10/2. Anything that says "To Be Announced" is what is being provided by Schedules Direct/Gracenote. If the guide says "No data available", then that is where the data ends for that station. The downloaded data looks like that goes out to 17/2 for most stations which would be your 14 days downloaded.

The folks at Schedules Direct will be able to describe it better, but basically for many lineups in the U.K., they only get updated data once a week for around 14 days. So you can have as much as 14 days data but should only drop to 7 before the next update. It is quite possible that your next update will bring all those stations back up to 14 days. If not, let us know so we can get SD's attention.

Thanks Gary. Unfortunately it didn't fix itself this morning and now I am down to 5 days data.

I also have another line-up for FreeView (instead of FreeSat) on a separate media PC and have just noticed that it also only has 5 days data. The FreeView PC has been running for over a year without any issues, so it sounds like a problem with Schedules Direct.

I agree. You may want to open a ticket with them. There might be a simple log jam they can clear up. If not, then they will notify Gracenote.

It was a problem with the data coming from Schedules Direct, there was no problem with EPG123. Thanks again for such a great product!
