I believe what you're looking for is the service ID (SID) which would be station specific. Instead of the symbol rate, I can put that in the text and would actually make more sense. The symbol rate is about the transponder and does not represent the bandwidth of the channel.Dean wrote:I've tried your beta and it works as it should.... I still couldn't find the channel I'm looking for which is odd (rescans don't pick it up either) but i'm sure a reinstall will sort it out.
In the tuning info is there any other information available such as PID? That would make every channel listed unique.

Ah yes, I was under the impression that the SID was only unique per transponder but I see it's completely unique on Freesat/Sky. I'm not sure if they're unique over different satellite services (ie 19.2e) but having a quick scanover they look ok.

Just updated the client on the server with SID instead of SR. Give that a go and see if it gets you where you need to be. http://epg123.garyan2.net/downloads/epg ... t_beta.zip

Still haven't found the channel I was looking for, it's on SID 55290 which I can find in the lineup XML but doesn't appear in the list on the client.
I guess my database is pretty much had it, so will rebuild it at somepoint.

You sure it wasn't 52290? If you are looking for Motorsport TV, it is one of the channels I had to delete because there were no tuners associated with it.Dean wrote:That does make life easier.garyan2 wrote:Just updated the client on the server with SID instead of SR. Yeah that's it, it's odd that it doesn't pick up the channel on a rescan but I really wouldn't worry about it.

The channel now appears in a rescan so clearing out of the DB seems to have worked.

I actually wasn't expecting that. I figured it would take a new TV Setup to ever get that channel back. Interesting ... probably a benefit of the DVB structure and code.Dean wrote:The channel now appears in a rescan so clearing out of the DB seems to have worked.
