Thanks Gary. Another great release with some useful enhancements.
Is it finished yet?
For those hesitating, the upgrade process from version-to-version has been very smooth since v1.1.0 (which was the one which made major changes).

Nah, I've got a couple more stops on the roadmap to completion. The next release will certainly help a lot of folks across the pond with a mix of DVB-S, DVB-T, and DVB-C lineups.IT Troll wrote:Is it finished yet?

Gary is like Walt Disney.. It will never be finished so long as there is imagination in the world..IT Troll wrote:Thanks Gary. Another great release with some useful enhancements.

And I'm already on v1.1.17, BTW. No issues. Haven't had a case where the new retry function needed to be invoked but it looks like it works from others reports.
It looks as if v1.1.18 brings features I don't use but I'll update anyhow..

Sounds good. I believe at one point you were thinking of adding a “watchdog” background service. My advice would be, don’t bother, unless you have a very compelling reason to do so.garyan2 wrote:Nah, I've got a couple more stops on the roadmap to completion. I am currently beta testing some other unrelated software which is switching to a client GUI / background service model. This introduces a host of challenges around process escalation and local vs network service permissions. It’s a world of pain I am sure you can do without!
