OTA channel guide not showing

#1

Post by cobraman44 » Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:42 am

I searched but did not have any luck. Either I did not understand or could not find the solution

I have 2 HDHomeRun tuners. 1 cable and 1 OTA
All channels are showing in WMC. Did not have to add them manually
I added the guide data in the Configuration tool for both my cable provider and OTA. I see the OTA channels under LineUp2

The channels show in the client configuration tool under both the Guide Channels and Under Lineup Services.
I tried to rename the channel in WMC to match what is under the Lineup Service. ex: was "Me TV" renamed to "WTOLDT2"
After rerunning the client configuration it does show the new name in Guide Channels
But still no guide data.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for looking
Jeff

You have to link the guide listings to the channels; reference Matching Lineup Service to Guide Channels on page 9 of the guide.

Quick way: just click the Automatch by: [# Number] button in the EPG123 Client GUI.

Doh!!! That was simple. "Automatch by: [# Number] button in the EPG123 Client GUI"
Worked like a charm. Thank you for saving me a lot of time. I was making it too complicated.
