Hi
Is there any chance someone might one day produce an idiot's guide to installing EPG123 on Win7, or better still, is there a nurd who lives within striking distance of Coventry UK who would install it for me for a fee?!

There is a link to the official installation guide on the top of this forum. What part of the installation procedure is unclear to you?

Nearly all of it I'm afraid! The official guide does not seem to relate to what actually seems to happen on my computer, but primarily the guide is written in what seems to me a foreign language!

Are you on Windows 7, or Windows 8? Which version of EPG 123 did you download? DId you have the regular guide working before you tried EPG123?

Windows 7; epg v1.13; I was getting "No Service" on all channels" hence wanting to install EPG123. I purged the media centre of all Microsoft/Rovi data before trying to install WPG123 as recommended in User Guide.

Windows 7; EPG123 v 1.13; I was getting "No Service" with Rovi, hence wanting to try EPG123. I purged all Rovi data before trying to install EPG123 as recommended in User Guide.

Crash is well known on this board, I’d let him do the install if you are that uncomfortable and there is no one in your area.

DVB-S, DVB-C, or DVB-T? In the age of the internet, everyone is within striking distance. I can help with a TeamViewer session, but I'm in the GMT minus 7 hour timezone.
