DVBlink/Colossus + EPG123

So last evening I turn on my windows media extender (xbox 360) and it tells me my guide data is corrupted. There is no 'guide' option on the screen, only 'recorded shows' and 'setup tv'.
Of course, on the extender, when you see that and select it, it says "go to your media center and setup tv".

I remote into the media center, and it's got everything - all the guide data seems fine. I can tune channels, etc. But all 3 extenders that I touched (and I figure 3 of 5 is sufficient) show the "setup TV" option.

So, today I get back to the house after some errands and fun (I occasionally co-host a live cigar-lifestyle talk radio show called 'smooth draws radio show' here in atlanta...) I start fudging around.

The first 2 times I try to 're- setup' my on the media center PC itself, I get a 'media center has encountered an error and cannot continue'. So, I download and install the newest EPG123 (I was on like 1.0.3 - hey, it worked!) and run the "fresh install" - the nuclear step 1.

So The TWIST in my configuration is that - because I have 4 colossus cards, I'm using DVBlink to create the tuners. But DVBlink is configured to use "MC Guide Services" for the EPG...

So now that I've not accepted the WMC guide, I don't seem to be getting the data I need?

HELP!?

(and hurry please - i have to leave town for a week, starting tomorrow, and my wife is gonna kill me if this is not workin!!)

It's going to be another 3 hours before I will be able to actively help. I've looked at DVBLink in the past to see how EPG123 can work with it, but didn't spend too much time on it. Hopefully someone with similar setup can help quickly.

It seems that by selecting to auto match channel numbers that at least the guide populated... my 6th time loading the data, I figured I'd try that.
So - channels change, and I seem to have a couple of my saturday recordings going already... maybe that's all there is to it?

Thanks! I'll be back if I have more Q's!
