You can enable the channels in your guide, just there won't be any guide information. A quick way to do so would be to use epg123Client, select all the channels you want to enable (shift-click and ctrl-click works) and then press the space-bar to toggle the checkbox. This enables and disables in the guide.

Last update on this outage was there is no update. Gracenote still troubleshooting. So far, no ETA.
Gah, yes, totally forgot about the Client. If things aren't cleared up by tonight I'll add the channels we need for the time being.

EDIT: EVERYTHING IS WORKING AGAIN!
Thanks to rkulagow and garyan2 for the great communications and personal responses.

We are beginning to run updates against the upstream service, at a reduced rate, in order to avoid swamping their systems as systems come online.

Has anyone seen any updates on this issue?
I'm still getting lots of channels showing "no data available" in the guide.
Any idea when this will be resolved?

Last update was SD was performing their batch updates, but at a slower pace and longer time between. This gives some relief to the Gracenote servers once they got back online and ensures the batch runs have enough time to complete.

That said, I have seen some updates on my stations that were not affected originally, but I too am still missing data for multiple channels still. Since my guide still has information from previous updates, it is still whole ... just the mentioned channels are a couple days shorter than the rest now.

It doesn't look anything like been fixed from my run an hour ago. I can post the log but it's the usual case of dozens of "Failed to parse" messages and a mismatch between the counts of Md5 for daily schedules vs. retrieved of 585 : 382.

Same here. No change in my empty stations, but interestingly enough a couple lineups I subscribe to all of a sudden added a lot more stations since my config file was saved on 6/6.

I'll shoot off an email to rkulagow.

Guess I should have checked Schedules Direct forum before responding and sending the email (sorry rkulagow).

The upstream API issues continue, and it is impacting our ability to refresh schedules. Senior leadership at the upstream provider has been engaged.

In order to provide timely schedules we will reduce the number of days of data we are requesting from our upstream until their issue is resolved.

Got a little more detail through email from rkulagow, but it's summarized pretty well on the SD forum. The little more detail would be their batch runs they started last night for 30 days still wasn't complete after 14 hours.

We have reduced the number of days of schedule that we're requesting from our upstream and the bulk load on our servers is now running faster. Based on the current run-rate, ETA for schedule completion is 12:30P CDT / 17:30 UTC.

Alright, done. I kind of assumed this would be more trouble than benefit to S-D in these cases.

Same here which is why I'm holding off for a bit before submitting. The opening of tickets appears to be fully automated, but the closing will be tedious.

If you were affected, please open a ticket, even if you're now pulling down data.

In the body of the email, please indicate if you now have at least 7 days of schedule, so that you're at least experiencing a partial restoration of service.

Mine is back in business... Was missing like 4000 of 13375 entries, now it says it missed 20. Guide claims to be good until June 29th.

I'm going to leave it at 1.0.2 for a few days and then try to go to 1.1.5 again some other time. Just my luck I finally pull the trigger on upgrading on Thursday! :(

Since you asked, I'll look in to a ticket, too.

Thanks!

If you're missing data, please open a ticket at the Schedules Direct website so that we can investigate. I'll need to know the stationID that you're having an issue with.

It's in the same folder as epg123.exe. File name is epg123.cfg. It's just an xml/text. Copy it.

Yes. After you copy it, past it someplace else.

I'm missing guide data on 11 channels. I submitted a support ticket to SD.
