Hi Gary, I finally have a little time to work on my notifier for when EPG123 fails to run properly. I updated one of my HTPC's to 1.1.4 and I need to generate
an error event from EPG123 to test my code. What is an easy way to do this? I tried to just run an update manually with the net unplugged, this did indeed
generate an error event from EPG123 but unfortunately it did not have the 0xDEAD event Id, it was zero. So no trigger from the task scheduler
BTW this seems like a bug to me. Any ideas?
Thanks

That's been fixed for the next release, hopefully soon. The failure will have to happen during an update to get the 0xDEAD code in v1.1.4. Unfortunately, failing to get the token at the beginning generates an event id of 0.
To test out your code, disconnect the network after the update has started and it will fail to generate the mxf file with 0xDEAD.
