EPG123 V 1.14 & MCLXL
I have EPG123 v1.14 for my guide provider, and my channel logos XL for channel logos setup on a fresh install of win 7 ult. x64. I have performed the setup of epg123 a few times, including booting into safe mode, and performing step one. I cannot get guide data loaded into WMC. i am able to select a channel number (channel 2 for instance) and it will tune to that channel. I have noticed that EPG123 takes about a day to populate my guide after I perform the setup procedures on most of the other machines I have used it on, and it appears to be trying to import data on this machine too, but screws up somewhere. This is why I suspect there might be a conflict between MCLXL & EPG123.
On most machines, as I already said, guide data is populated about a day after I perform setup. On the machine I am having trouble with the guide changes after about a day but instead of displaying a correct guide, it shows an empty guide with the only change being a Nickelodeon logo for every channel. What could I be doing wrong, and how can I fix this? thanks.

The import and population will be immediate if the "automatic import" option is selected. There is no conflict between MCLXL and EPG123 except maybe the logos themselves.
You could do a manual import using epg123client.

I have automatic imports checked, and I've tried manually importing also but I'm not having any luck. I can see the mxf file in my epg123 folder. I uninstalled MCLXL and ran epg123 setup with clean start again but still no luck.

Could you post the last few attempts at an update from the trace.log file? Also, in the epg123Client.exe GUI, does the left side show Service Names with Subscirbed Lineups of "EPG123 Lineups with Schedules Direct?"

The client does show EPG123 Lineups with Schedules Direct, and I sent you a PM with my log. Sorry for the PITA but the forum wouldn't let me attach a txt file, and it was too long to post on the board.

I can see that epg123.mxf is populated, and I just used loadmxf to load it into the guide but still nothing. Maybe there is another step in wmc that isn't updating?

@jachin99: I haven't gotten your trace.log file to look at yet. Did you try to send it to the email address I sent you?

After reading through a few other posts, I reconfigured epg to automatch stations, and it worked so now I feel like a dummy. What command/component of windows or epg 123 performs that particular task because before I thought it was as easy as using loadmxf. Sorry for your troubles.
