Scheduled task not fully updating

#1

Post by darekd » Sat Apr 22, 2017 1:17 am

I have a small problem that it's not a big deal but I'm curious why this is happening. My guide is fully downloaded and currently I have 14 days of data until May 4. For some reason my scheduled tasks are only going til May 1. Shows from May 2 thru 4th will appear in the list but it will take few days. Any idea why this is happening?

Log doesn't show any errors.

I'm running 1.1.4

Do you mean scheduled recordings? This is a WMC kinda thing but should be reindexed after every update.

Yes, that's what I mean. I run epg123 few time and re-indexing indicates that it run succesfully and the programs are still not scheduled. My scheduled recordings are only going thru May 1st.

Do the episodes you expect to be scheduled for recording show they are new? or repeat? Note that generic episodes should be scheduled as if they are new.

They are new episodes like NCIS on May 2. The thing is that these programs will be scheduled but it takes few days for some reason.

How often to you reboot your HTPC or restart WMC? I think when epg123 kicks off the reindex task, the scheduled recordings are done as well but it's done at the end of the process. I can't imagine it taking a couple days though.

That doesn't make much sense. Does your normal program search work?

If it happens again, you could try to force the matter by running "c:\windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -PvrSchedule" or "c:\windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -PvrRecoveryTask"
