Details not being added to filename

New question:

Now that my guide and all is working, I see something new/different in this version. I have EPG123 set to append the filename with the season and episode numbers. These are not being added. Also, I'm pretty sure in the old version, the station name was included, now those are not there. So now all I have is the show name and episode name.

I have MCEBuddy configured so that different things happen to different channels. My OTA tuner is an HDHR Extend, which I have set to automatically transcode, so shows from those channels I only strip commercials. Shows from my local PBS station do not need transcoding or commercial stripping. I had it configured to watch for the channel name, but now with that gone I'll have to add all the individual show names.

This isn't a huge deal, I can do it if needed, but I'm thinking I missed something.

Are you talking about the WTV filename? All that is handled in registry and is outside the scope of epg123.

Ah yes, I forgot about that being in registry - except the append filename with series and episode, that's in EPG123, no?

epg123 will prefix the episode title with season/episode which will work for the filename. There is also an option to append the episode description which will not be reflected in the filename.

Now I understand. I thought they were the same thing, one being at the front and one being at the end. But now I understand. Thanks!
