I just tried to install EPG123 and I messed it up somehow. I am using WIndows 8.1 Pro and a Hauppauge 2650 Dual Tuner with cable card from Cox Cable in Las Vegas (89117). I am not a real computer savy person when trying to run programs but I can usually persist long enough to get it going.
I already got the year subscription to Schedules Direct. I started using Step One in the Safe Mode, the went through WMC TV Set Up, ran the EPG123 .exe as the administrator; then I logged into Schedules Direct and set the lineup for the channels I have on Cox Digital. After the EPG123 ran, I then opened WMC but it was still only three days of data and appeared to be the same ROVI data as before I started. Where did I screw Up.

The only way that Rovi could still be there is if the eHome directory did not get deleted in Step 1, or you forgot to answer 'I do not agree' to the Program Guide Terms of Service.
Any other users using the 2650 out there? I had to do something special for the HD PVR ... just want to make sure I don't need to do something for the 2650.
davidhp, on the epg123 GUI, was the Colossus button shown in the bottom?

There was no button that was named Colussus, I can't remember if I answered the terms of use, I will try again. Thanks, I am sure I am doing something wrong, but I will keep trying.

I use the 2650 and there is nothing special needed. Occasionally (I have installed EPG123 many times) when running TV setup, it won't recognize the tuners. Usually a reboot or unplugging and reglugging the USB connection fixes it.garyan2 wrote:The only way that Rovi could still be there is if the eHome directory did not get deleted in Step 1, or you forgot to answer 'I do not agree' to the Program Guide Terms of Service.
