EPG123 updates "old" guide
I am a novice, so I hope I can explain to make sense: I started using EGP123 in September (love it!). All has been well until I tried to modify selected channels in my lineup. I added channels for HBO, ShowTime, and Max, and removed 3 EPIX channels I no longer receive. When I "save and execute", all is good, but after the nightly update, it seems to revert back to the original setup because the 3 EPIX channels are back but not the new premiums. When I login it shows the correct channel selection as I modified it. I tried a clean start and does the same thing. I have tried with "automatch stations to channels" both selected and not. I checked my scheduled tasks to make sure there wasn't 2 EPG123 tasks running, which there was not. Any help much appreciated!

Anything in the log file to indicate a problem?

I looked at the trace log but I don't fully understand it. If I paste it into a reply, it would be quite long. Is that acceptable?

You can post the last 1 or 2 updates (look at the date/time stamps) in a message. Make sure you bracket it in [ code ]log file text here[ /code ] using the code button. Example below of resulting post.

No, it's not acceptable. Use code tags as instructed.xairboater wrote:I looked at the trace log but I don't fully understand it. If I paste it into a reply, it would be quite long. Is that acceptable?

@xairboater: looks like your post got nuked, but I got it.
Looking at your log file, it appears to me you have 2 different epg123 folders. There is the one you are using to manually run with the new lineup selections, and there is the one that your scheduled task is running that does not have those changes. I suggest you run epg123 as administrator, delete the current scheduled task and create a new one. The new task will point to location where your changes exist.

I deleted the current task as you suggested and created the new one. I'll update after testing it out. Thanks!
