I'd upgrade if it was free... and had Media Center. :) The PC is really just a Media Center appliance, it's not used for anything else.

I thought about upgrading to SageTV or another application, but like many others here, haven't found anything as good as Media Center.

Oh, I should probably add that my original reason for not upgrading to TV Pack or Win 7 was to avoid *.WTV files. That would break commercial skip. When the Rovi switch happened, I needed to upgrade so now I'm without commercial skip anyway.

At another point I considered swapping out my Win 7 desktop to use MCE with cablecard, but Time Warner encrypted all channels (even CSPAN!) so commercial skip wouldn't work. I stuck with Vista and Analog Cable until it went away... now MCE only records ATSC through a HDHR.
