Search function issues after switching to EPG123

Hopefully someone here can help me out with learning how to use EPG123. I tried EPG123 recently and I found that could no longer search the guide the way that I could with the ROVI guide setup before. I used to be able to.. Recorded TV > Add Recording > Search > Title <enter a program name> > <select the program from the resulting list presented to me>.

I followed the pdf guide and it seems that because I am directed to "Perform the setup as normal except for the agreement of the 'Program Guide Terms of Service' screen. Select the ‘I do not agree’ radio button and click [Next]" it looks like my only option is to manually input a day/time/length. Is this normal or did I do something wrong? :crazy:

Something wrong...
Did you do the first steps of deleting or renaming the eHome folder to start clean, or skip that? Does the Guide look otherwise normal?

The search will return zero results if the indexing hasn't been performed. EPG123 will kick off the reindex job after the guide listings are successfully imported.

Anything in the trace.log file that would indicate a failure to start the reindexing?
