Problem fetching SD data

#1

Post by denmonta » Wed Sep 21, 2016 4:45 pm

Decided to try EPG123 as we seem to have problems with the Guide data on WMC.

I just renewed and paid for 1 year membership to Schedules Direct and can see after login that my membership expires Sep 21 2017.
When I run the epg123.exe it seems that I am not allowed to get the data.
I have tried several times from the command line and from the GUI save&execute but always have the same problem.

Any idea what I can do to fix it.

Here is the log.

Open a ticket with Schedules Direct. Perhaps your subscription renewal has not taken effect on the download server.

Actually, looks like your account is just fine. Just a quick question and explanation ...

Did you happen to open another instance of epg123? perhaps the GUI?

There can be only 1 token active at a time, and when the epg123 GUI opens and you login a new token is given and the old is 'expired'. If the update was running and you logged in again thru the GUI, then the update will fail since the token it is using is no longer valid.

Gary, you are totally correct.
I was running an instance of Emby that uses the same Schedules Direct account and it was doing a guide update at that time.
Since it was the initial load of the guide data, it took a long time for Emby to be done with it.
As soon as I saw Emby was finished, I tried epg123 and that one worked right away.
Thanks again for your great app.
I will probably make the switch for all my WMC W7 systems.

My config is working with 2 HD Homerun Prime (6 tuners), 4 Windows 7 systems with WMC, 4 Raspberry Pi running OpenLive/Kodi.
I am also testing Plex, HDHR Dvr beta and Emby to allow me to move away from WMC at some point.
