garyan2 sent to me a fixed epg123.exe file and it solved the problem, "I checked first HD1 and Cherie 25 => OK, then i checked the whole list of 25 TNT channels => ok again! great job
I'll try with my hauppauge colossus media center this evening, this one have much more channels in the guide (channels from Numericable Cable TV provider) and i' ll tell you"

see you

For those keeping an eye on this thread, epg123 has been successful for the terrestrial tuners, but we are having difficulty with the Colossus setup. We're working on it, so stay tuned (pun intended).

Okay, we've got it working, but don't really know what the fix was. The epg123Client was throwing an exception at the end of/after the mxf import (trace.log file says import was successful). I wrapped everything in a try/catch to get more information for the exception and where exactly it was happening, but that build worked just fine without any errors.

I don't like having an unknown error floating around out there, but if I can't capture it, I can't troubleshoot it.

Bonjour

Thanks garyan2, EPG123 can now be used for french Hauppauge Colossus users too, and that's the real good news:

Image

just one more thing: for TNT users, as Schedules Direct don't have the standard TNT lineup, they have to choose between Numericable, Free or Orange providers, but as they don't have the same order of channels, do not check the "Automatch stations to channels", if you do so, the TNT guide and standard channel order will be overwriten everytime you update by EPG123. You have to do it manually or with Guidetool.

Merci!

If we don't have a lineup, or there are channels missing in an existing lineup, please open a ticket at the Schedules Direct website so that we can investigate.

I have created a lineup for testing. Does EPG123 allow a user to directly specify a lineup, ("FRA-0000001-CUSTOM") or so they have to go through the "Search" function?

OK. Grrr. I was hoping that there was a way to test lineups before they are "real", because I don't have a mechanism to publish lineups on a per-user basis while testing. And I don't necessarily want to make a "bad" lineup available to other users until it's been sorted out.

Is there a "--i-know-what=im-doing" flag that can be passed to EPG123?

Nope, no flag. If you have a volunteer, you can just subscribe them to the test lineup and epg123 will work just fine. The search is just to add it to their subscribed lineups on the JSON server.

Problem fixed. TNT have now its own lineup and everything OK (automatch successfully tested with EPG V1) no need to choose between Orange Numericable or SFR anymore. Tuto updated. Thank you all

Great. I'll need to make a change on the server so that the TNT lineup is offered with the other lineups for FRA; until then, if you'd like to use TNT then please open a ticket at the Schedules Direct website.

OK but no need for now, but don't worry, i'll open another ticket about Numericable and SFR which are since this year an unique Cable provider with the same guide, and they completely changed their channel ordering
