:?: I run a Windows 10 test box with Insider Fast updates. It just updated to 14959. The re-worked Windows Media Center no longer starts. eshell gets .NET access errors. I have a laptop that does not get Insider updates and WMC starts and plays back recordings but ca not find my HDHOMERUN tuners.

Which version of W10 did you start with when you configured WMC? The reason why I ask is that based on what I've read is version 10586 1511 seemed to be the one that seemed to work the best with using either a Ceton or HDHR Prime tuner & extenders.

I know that some of the newer W10 versions work, but it seemed like there was still issues (such as WMC couldn't find the Prime tuner)

Now the Windows 10 laptop that does not get Insider updates got updated and now WMC will not even start. I give up. I am considering reverting it back to Windows 7. It is used 100% by my wife and she was sometimes using it to watch WMC recordings from my WMC server. I like Windows 10 and she was just getting used to it but it is not a high priority for her but when we go on extended vacations she takes that laptop and if it was Windows 7 she could watch TV content remote access from home. (See my recent submission - How I am using my own version of AERO).
