Checked for updates this morning, a couple times MC would come back and say guide download unsuccessful, check error log. Tried a couple more times, 3rd time it said successful. (mcupdate process ran for about 1-2 minutes, which is expected when merging new guide data)

They are almost all GONE AGAIN.

Only Channels in the guide are 1104-1112, 1124, 1125, 1231, 1284 and 1291. Oddly these are the only ones yesterday that had actual programming data listed, every other channel had 'no data available'. Now all of those are not listed again.

Re-ran full tuner setup process again, all the channels are back, again, and the guide listings are all there.

Noticed 1 guide error (so far) - they are advertising Channel 1325 which does not exist. Channel 1326 - the newer HD Local Weather Channel - is missing.

I've been running EPG123 with Schedules direct for the last week, but I'll clean out WMC and re-run the TV setup to see what I come up with tonight. Btw....EPG123 is really nice, especially on metadata (cover art, episode numbers, etc), but it's an involved process in its infancy. I can fully see us ALL going to EPG123 pretty soon once he develops it further to become "automated" like the EPG data is currently using Rovi.

Channels 1325/1326 will be fixed. It was a simple typo on Comporium's end with the spreadsheet they submitted. It HAS been forwarded to Rovi, and ROVI responded to comporium saying it will be corrected immediately.

Yep, but in the meantime, simply create a scheduled task that executes C:\epg123\epg123.exe at the desired frequency.

I got the same email from Rovi about 1325/1326 as well. Interesting that it was a typo in a spreadsheet. I work for one of the largest companies in the world and I'm amazed and flabbergasted that spreadsheets are used for (manual) critical business processes where they never were intended to be used.

So, does anyone really know the root cause? I'm not looking to place blame but I'd really like to know if it started with a Comporium issue (sending the wrong data) or Rovi (data ingestion, processing issue).

I'll start to read up on EPG123.

Got home, works fine for me. Took the data about few minutes to populate in the guide, but it's all there. I removed media center, deleted ehome directory, re-enabled media center, and then started live tv setup from scratch if that helped any.
