I had no timing problems with the transition to DST. However, Program Guide apparently stopped updating about that time. I have no data past 8:00 PM on 19 March.

I believe today is the 6th day with no new schedules in the EPG. I have not heard back from Rovi yet other than the canned acknowledgement of receipt of my email.

Also emailed Tivo/Rovi.
This gets SO old - one of these times, I'll switch providers so I stop going through this BS.

Yup my EPG ends at 6:00 PM 3/19/2018
There is however at least one channel with "placeholder" guide data to 4:00 AM 3/20/2018 (the placeholder program starts prior to 6:00 PM on 3/19/2018)
Comcast
Salt Lake City
I have no confidence that Microsoft will get the EPG fixed before my EPG data runs out.
I gave up and picked up a Comcast DVR. I hate the thing but at least it gives me EPG data to 3/29/2018. Hopefully Microsoft will surprise me and get the EPG working before 3/19 so I won't actually have to use the Comcast DVR

My guide data is already out. My data ended on 3-12-2018.
I've been using Plex DVR as a backup to Media Center for a while and its picking up the slack.
I can try experimenting with another Media Center system to try and get EPG123 working but it will likely mean I will have to leave DVBLink for Hauppauge HD PVR behind. I'll try a setup with the Hauppauge native Media Center beta and experiment from there

This will give us some idea when others will be updated as it appears they get updated in alphabetical order.

In the past it took about 4 hours from when someone with a "C" lineup reported new guide data until "V" (Verizon FiOS) users got it. This means I'll get it around 2:20am, which is the regular time I've been getting updates lately. This probably means that Microsoft did nothing, and it just fixed itself after DST data was no longer in the system.

Just got my update up to 3/25 4am for San Fran-Oak-SJ OTA Antenna at 11:11pm !
I believe Mr. Space has the best guess as to what is going on but I guess (hopefully) we won't find out until we go back to standard time in the fall!

Looks like I got new data with a timestamp of 1:30am, so about an hour earlier than normal. So Microsoft may have done something, but I guess we'll never know... Could just be because the server operates on GMT so 1:30am EDT is the new 2:30am EST.

What happens if someone's computer is sleeping between 1:00 am and 2:00 am....
Would they miss the update?

No, that time is just when the new guide update becomes available to download, you can connect any time after that and download it.
This time differs for each lineup, so even though mine was made available at 1:30am ET, yours may be available sooner or later.
What I've seen is that it goes alphabetically, with lineups starting with "A" having the update available first, and then "B", etc. It's about 3.5 to 4 hours from when the download for lineups starting with "A" are available until the download for lineups starting with "V" are available (mine is "Verizon FiOS" so I figured this out from the many outages in the past).

I too was plagued with the guide issues and contemplated EPG123 at a cost but then nixed it when I found a post/string with a batch file you can run to fix your guide running out. It's sort of a flush and re-fill for the guide. Hope it works for you, you only need the 'mcupdate.exe -uf 'command, the rest is me being thorough.
@rem Script to auto refresh TV Guide in WMC
runas /user:NAME-OF-PC\username /savecred cmd
cd\
cd windows
cd ehome
mcupdate.exe -uf
close
This script is plugged into the Microsoft Task Scheduler and runs weekly (every Sunday) and I have had no issues with any of my media centers TV guides since instituting. Important note: the batch and commands must be ran as an administrator. As background, I run Win7 Pro w/WMC on all media centers.

Detroit OTA had not updated, but after I saw this I triggered a manual update from within WMC and got data through 3/25 also. So again Microsoft has fixed their problem.
Moved to W10 and NPVR in December 2019. Bye.

Last night the one machine that updated after 3AM PDT updated through Mar 24. That's the end of programming on TCM not the end date in Media Center which will be later. The 1 AM machine has not updated so apparently the data on the server was updated after the 1AM machine and before the 3AM machine.
Watching the other machines today and will run forced update on any that don't get the new schedule.
Spectrum Los Angeles San Fernando Valley West.

My guide updated today (FiOS). However, the add recording went from 6 days out to only 11 days, whereas it normally is 12-14. Also, some of the late night talk shows for next week only have the generic descriptions, which has been an indicator that the guide doesn’t have complete data.

I'm up to date through 24-March now. Broadcast channels, MN. Glad they didn't take this down to the wire like previous times. The person who fixed it in the fall must still work there. LOL
