Thursday Night Football

#1

Post by xidarx » Sat Sep 16, 2017 5:38 pm

An internet search said that Thursday night football was on NBC and CBS. I added these channels and many more Sports channels to my channel list but was unable to get the game. Does anyone know the specific channel name for Thursday Night Football? I am in the Cable Comcast King County South - Digital. Thanks. XIDARX

You might have to watch that directly at nbc.com or cbs.com

You didn't say if you had a tuner or not..... if you have a tuner what kind of antenna are you using..... or are you buying cable and plug in the cable into a tuner

From what you said in your opener you don't have it tuner you added the channels to WMC and expected they would play..... no tuner No TV

The NFL has a unique setup for Thursday Night Football. There are 3 networks it can be on, NBC, CBS, and NFL Network. Sometimes a game is only on a single network, sometimes on 2 networks at the same time. Week 1 was only on NBC. Week 2 was only on NFL Network, which would account for why you didn't see the game last Thursday. Week 3 will also only be on NFL Network.

Thursday night TV schedule

Week 1: Chiefs at Patriots, Sept. 7 at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC
Week 2: Texans at Bengals, Sept. 14 at 8:25 p.m. ET on NFL Network
Week 3: Rams at 49ers, Sept. 21 at 8:25 p.m. ET on NFL Network
Week 4: Bears at Packers, Sept. 28 at 8:25 p.m. ET on CBS and NFLN
Week 5: Patriots at Buccaneers, Oct. 5 at 8:25 p.m. ET on CBS and NFLN
Week 6: Eagles at Panthers, Oct. 12 at 8:25 p.m. ET on CBS and NFLN
