Listings for Fresno-Visalia OTA, California, good through 3 July, 4 PM. OTA TV combined with streaming TV, movies, Redbox.com rentals, etc., offer me enough boobtube options. Still amazes we have some 80+ OTA channels in Fresno-Visalia.

I opened a question over on the Microsoft Community regarding the problem with no new data past 6/27 for FiOS lineups. Hopefully it gets some traction. I have a feeling that this will not be fixed quickly due to it's limited impact (apparently only affecting FiOS lineups).
I believe you have to be logged in to your Microsoft account to access/post in this thread, but if you are having this problem, please post or let them know you are also having this problem:

Thanks.

Got a (prompt) reply from Tivo/Rovi this morning -lovewmc wrote:I just sent a support ticket to ipgcustomersupport@tivo.com
They have been very responsive at every outage in the past. I would encourage others to drop them a note as well.

to me
Hello,
Everything looks good on our side, we have a full coverage for this lineup and up to date data. A email has been send to Microssoft as a notification so they can look into this.
Thanks,
Jose

Subject: WIndows Media Center EPG Problem
I am using Windows Media Center and I understand you are the guide (EPG)
provider to Microsoft. The guide currently has updates to Jul 4 but only SD
channels (up to 160) are updated. Others, including all HD, end at June 27
and have no data. I am using Burlington MA, FIOS as the provider.
Please advise! Other FIOS users all over the country also have this problem.
Thanks,

Thanks for reporting this, hopefully this will get to Microsoft in time before data runs out. I wish we had a more concrete way of contacting Microsoft for these issues.

I checked my guide today, and it looks as though the problem may have been fixed! I now have full HD guide data though 8 PM on 7/4, and some inaccuracies on tomorrow's stuff have been fixed. In response to an earlier question, I'm on Fios in Hyattsville, MD.

I use a different method of downloading the EPG that outputs an xmltv text file.
I just downloaded the Burlington MA FIOS guide. I used 01803 as the zip and picked the FIOS digital cable selection.
I checked channels 400-402 which appear to be HBO and I assume HD. All 3 channels have schedule data up to 8 pm EDT July 4.
There might be something in the data or your system causing the issue but the data seems available.
It's a time consuming process selecting, downloading and manual checking a 240 MB file using a text editor so please don't start sending me requests to check your lineup.

No new data for me with OTA listings in the Philly market for the past several days. The manual guide update completes successfully with no new data included.

After attempting a manual guide update, Fresno-Visalia OTA California listings still end 4 July, 4PM.

An example of what these outages mean even when we're not close to running out of data, 5 of 6 of the late night talk shows have no guest info for the week.

I sent an email to Rovi/Tivo asking for them to coordinate with Microsoft on this latest outage of new information.

This is really an ongoing problem. Usually it gets "fixed" only every few days. It is just longer this time. They need to fix the root of the problem.
I have a feeling that they don't do anything and it just somehow fixes itself every few days.

David, I spoke to Jose this morning. He said they informed MS on the 22nd about it, but at the time there was still 12 days of guide, and he had no idea some of the existing data was incorrect. He said he would escalate it, and ask his MS contact for a follow-up to his first message. He'll call me once he hears, which hopefully will be tomorrow.davidhp wrote:I sent an email to Rovi/Tivo asking for them to coordinate with Microsoft on this latest outage of new information.
Never fails. Federal Holiday = outage! Do those folks take off the week *before* holidays, or what?
