Typically WMC gets the same fix 3-24 hours later. I hope it's in tonight's overnight update.
No guarantee but a high probability based on watching both for a few months.
We've got to start complaining sooner about outages given how long they're taking to fix them. I also think it gets more reliable when they know even brief outages get complaints.
Fingers crossed...
I knew there was something wrong last Friday, but only reported it in this thread. Basically because I didn't know where else to report it. Next time I'll try
metadatasupport@tivo.com and see if that gets anywhere...

ty
just saw ^^ post on my Gaming Rig; as i was having trouble in general with scheduling recordings on HTPC and in the process of restoring my HTPC using a backup i made of it yesterday.
A few minuets ago... 4:25 AM EST... EPG did not update. But with a fresh restoration of Backup i'll try again in a few minuets after it completes i'll report back about 20 minuets from now.
Edit (4:50 AM)- EPG still not updating... it says "already up to date"... but np. In the past three or so years at least once each college football season i have had to record a majority of TBA games on one or two Saturdays and then after that the EPG would be fixed. I bet Space is right, and the EPG returns/ updates very soon.
(Glad i had made my backup with things working fine yesterday. [NO NOT SPOILER i haven't watched 6th game yet] but i tried scheduling on channel FS1HD the Yankees game today at 8:00 PM using three TBA listings but it screwed-up my HTPC big time- SO DON'T TRY IT PPL. Wait till the game comes on maybe before starting the recording.)

To prevent that problem:
Go to Add a recording
channel and time
If you want to Change title, set either the start or end time at least 1 minute different than the "TBA" time slot, otherwise it won't use your custom title.
I've been doing that all week for every playoff baseball game and a few other recordings, worked perfectly for all of them. Just set up manual recordings for 9 college football games today too.

It will start to download the guide for the bad zipcode - let it! And leave the WMC alone for at least 2 hours while it does it. When it completed, I launched the TV guide and sure enough all channel listings were back (albeit for the wrong TV Provider/carrier). At this point, run TV setup again, switch back to your real zip code and complete the setup. Wait another 1-2 hours for the guide to come in. Working for me so far although I can't confirm If I will get rolling 2wk updates as I should. I'll post again if there's an issue. It may not be necessary to wait "1-2hrs' for the guide to download itself, but its definitely a step you don't want to rush. Confirm the wrong zip guide is working BEFORE you switch back to the actual one for your area.
I'll give this a try, as I'm on the same Verizon FIOS service. This may be a localized problem. I had a good update 4 days ago that had good data for today. Today I have no data for any of the premium/cable channels.
Tried the zip code change and no change in the EPG. The EPG ends in the same spot for the new location as it does for my real location. So the EPG data is not getting updated from ROVI or wherever it comes from these days.
Filed a message with Tivo so we'll see what that does, if anything.

Ran manual update last night, no change, quick return saying it was done.
Ran update this morning at 7:15, still "in progress" 1:20 later. No, it's just stuck, no update. Going to reboot and see what, if anything, that changes. Come Sunday night, if this is still not working, I'm done with Microsoft.

If we can all flood this open connect ticket with comments and upvote if you haven't already it's at least us rumbling again.

Microsoft hasn't looked at Connect in years. Total waste of time IMHO. And they don't care what we think.

1)
https://business.tivo.com/company/contact.html Fill out form selecting User Experience for the EPG
2)
metadatasupport@tivo.com DATA Client Services (Best Email Address to use for reporting issues.)
3)
salesforceadmin@tivo.com This is the email address that Tivo responds from.
I recommend doing both 1 & 2. 1 creates a case and 2 is direct to the metadata support. Calling and leaving a message is good too.
Hope this helps
Thanks Barn, I have used 1 and 2 to report the issue.
