They are aware, Barnstormer. Will they fix it? No idea. All I can do is ask my Rovi contacts to pass on info. MS rarely gets back to them, either.

Today's update again has no new data. Actual data ends September 10 at 8 pm. 9 days of 4 day stale listings left.SugarFree wrote:They are aware, Barnstormer. Will they fix it? No idea. All I can do is ask my Rovi contacts to pass on info. MS rarely gets back to them, either.

Can you ask your Rovi contact to let Microsoft know both their WMC and Xbox One EPG services are down again, haven't been updated in 3 days and that this is an ongoing issue? I'd suggest telling your contact that these outages are damaging to Rovi's reputation too.

Anyone else notice that the EPIX guide is empty? Just 12 hour blocks with EPIX Programming header, no titles, no programs and a new GET SHORTY on Sunday night.
Will have to schedule a manual recording but it seems strange since EPIX is a product of STARZ which does have guide data. This doesn't look like a MSFT problem but maybe an issue between EPIX and Rovi?

Here Belgium. Am without EPG updates since July 28th. Getting crazy with manual recordings...scrambler wrote: ---------------

Procedure-3:Thus should work for everyone (who doesn't live in Massachusetts):Zip Code: 01262
Procedure-4:CETON Diagnostic tools... "Clear Tuner Configuration"
Tried procedures 1 to 3 (tried 3 other cable providers). No EPG. (I do not know CETON, anyhow tuners do work OK)
Am I the only one to use WMC in Belgium, or have they really stopped updating EPG for ever over here ?
The EPG provider is "Broadcasting Dataservices Ltd. Anyone knows about them ?

This is almost a year old, but you'll probably have better luck posting on this site than over here.

The Xbox One EPG just got an update with 4 days of new data ending 9/14. Over the last month, I've been monitoring it, updates after an outage usually hit WMC 5-12 hours later. So possibly good news.
I don't think it will affect WMC but I am having issues getting downloads from all my channels on the Xbox One EPG, an issue I haven't seen before.

My guide did finally update this morning.
I don't know about anotheruser, but for me...
The reason that receiving guide data every 3/4 days instead of every day is problematic is because I check every weekend to make sure the weeks schedule is correct. If you have older data in the guide, then the days towards the end of the week can often be wrong (missing shows). This means I have to check again later in the week to make sure it is correct (doubling my work). Often it is not correct even with up-to-date data. For instance "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath" was all messed up last week, and the out-of-date data made it worse. I had to set up several manual records to make sure I got what I wanted.
This may not be as big a problem for people who don't record much TV, but right now I have 74 recordings equating to over 95 hours of recordings scheduled over the next 12 days (some of those towards the end of the guide are for shows that I will probably not actually record because they are repeats and the guide has not been updated with episode specific info). Making sure I don't miss anything is only made harder by not having up-to-date data.

You are not the only one in Belgium.
Here too no guide data after 28/07/2017 .
Did you find already a solution?
I looked for another epg solution, free or with fee, but didn't find anything for more as 4 Belgian channels....

Charter Spectrum in Roswell, GA (30075). Guide data has not updated and is now all gone except for local channels. Anyone else still without data?
***CORRECTION*** I just ran: "c:\windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -uf" and now see data populating. It can apparently take up to 2 hours, so fingers crossed I'll get everything.

If you send me an email: rkulagow@gmail.com I can see if we have data available for Belgium.

John, first, let me thank you for all the sage wisdom you've provided here. Here's some additional info that hopeful adds to what is known about this issue.JohnW248 wrote:Checking my various machines this morning, two had not received new data and ended on Aug 20. I have run a forced (-uf) update and the guide updated to Aug 25 now (end date shows Aug 26 but actual data ends on Aug 25). Don't know what is different on two machines but they had been updating but not taking and processing the new guide data. It would appear that the "loop" issue isn't fixed and also appears to be random.
I originally had the issue where my WMC guide was only getting data for locals. I took your advice and the c:\windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -uf command started the full guide loading again.
Without warning a 2nd PC I use with WMC developed the same issue, and c:\windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -uf" solved it also, but today the first PC one returned to only having data for local channels. Once again c:\windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -uf" worked.

Finally updated EPG- via right click on Extender's guide (Xbox 360).
But it only updated from Sept. 15, 7:00 AM, to Sept. 15, 2:00 PM. But cool np.
At least the Pop-up said, the Guide successfully downloaded.

I'm in 30066, ran setup on Tuesday, and still no love. I have two PC's and it's interesting that the guides have slightly different data, as one was updated, and lasted about a week longer than the other.berwickl wrote:Charter Spectrum in Roswell, GA (30075). Anywho, tired of dealing with Rovi, waited for what 2 years for this to be fix.
Installed EPG123 on one PC last night, holly cow, all the thumb nails are correct. Will be moving the second PC over this weekend. Need to have this going before the new season start.

Yup, this is the direction most WMC users are moving. The only, and I mean only, reason I haven't done it yet is because I have Comcast and until I know for sure how they will deal with the H.264 problem, it could be a waste of time and money.dbailey75 wrote:
