Any one else noticing that the EPG has been sporadic in updating since Friday, it will skip a day then update two. Now I have not had an update since Tuesday and the EPG goes through 3/20 late afternoon so it is two days behind again. I am hesitant to do a ticket yet, since it may update again later today.

I've seen more or less the same. Can't recall exactly, but I *think* it has only taken two days. In other words first day when expected to update it does not, but it does the next. For me this happens around 5 or 6am. I usually just check 'how many days' and in time gone by it would often be 13 days. But a lot lately it has be 12 days. Then, surprisingly it went back to 13 and was yesterday. It did not update today so it is now at the more recently expected 12. As things have gone so of late, I would *hope* it is back to normal tomorrow a.m.

Unless I see concerns posted here or get a WMC warning about an EPG approaching end date, I don't check. This morning, the end date was 21 March 2017 for Fresno-Visalia OTA, California. Seems 12 days of data has been the norm for a while.

I only had 3 days of guide this morning and got an error updating it. Now I don't see anything in the guide (even for today). I tried rebooting and updating several times. I am in Chicago with Comcast. Am I the only one? I hate to setup again as it is a nightmare.

If you check your actual listings I'm pretty sure you'll find they end at 8 pm EDT on 3/24. Updates have been happening around midnight EDT. The last one had 2 days of data after no new data the day before.

That's 3 of 8 days with no new data. Not a good streak from what's already the most unreliable cloud service on the internet from a major provider.

Yes, I've noticed that too. It downloads the same data two days in a row (so no update the second day), then the 3rd day it gets a new feed and that one is again downloaded on the 4th day again. So every two days it actually updates. You can see this my looking at the downloaded *.enc and *.mxf files, they have a new date but are identical to the ones downloaded the day before (a quick way to tell is if both files are the exact same size as the previous day).

But EVERY day, the download/import results in an error, so even though the data does get imported, there is some error that makes WMC think it failed in some way. Because of this, WMC continues to try to download it again (even though it just downloads the same thing again) putting additional unnecessary load on Microsoft's servers.

The latest EPG update around midnight EDT contained no new data. Actual data ends at 8 pm EDT on 3/28 as it did after the prior update. WMC reports a guide end date a day later as always.

It might be helpful if at least a couple of users can confirm this. I've sent a PM to JonFincher who "manages" the EPG team but he's been reluctant in the past to accept it's a widespread issue unless there are also multiple reports on the forum.

That's 4 missed updates out of the last 14 days for the most unreliable cloud service on the internet from a major provider. With the NCAA tourney underway...

JonFincher is done at Microsoft. Today is his last day.

Mine shows ending 1am 3/29, with actual data ending 8pm EDT 3/28.

Don't know if that's new or old data.

The EPG is updating for a few days and doesn't for a day or then updates again. I am now waiting two-three days before I submit a ticket for the EPG not updating. My understanding is if no ticket is submitted Microsoft will not respond to anything.

I haven't looked at my Win10/Rovi box for awhile. When I first opened the guide, EPG ended 03/27. The EPG updated immediately, all by itself. Presently, no entries after 8 Pm 03/28

Ran WMC/Tasks/Settings/TV/Guide/GetTheLatest = No Change.

Checked EventViewer....Everything looks normal. Rather not have errors, but, thats the way it is, and the way it has been, since forever.

Switch to EPG123 or start liking Rovi. What do you expect for nothing?

There is always a little hickup Spring and Fall due to the time change.

Search spring/fall 2015 or spring/fall 2016 and you will likely see the same issues as today.

My download that was made available 3/17 @ 10:41pm ET brought my guide up to 3/30 @ 8pm ET.

Before that, the last download with new data was on 3/15 @ 10:50pm ET. So it skipped one day, as has been the norm lately (only updating every other day).
