Connected a (likely MCE) remote. Seems to work better than a kb&m. Could someone tell me how to get out of full screen? I have tried the mouse on the full screen icon, I don't know which button to use on the remote.Crash2009 wrote:I just wanted Thank-you, and let you know that NetflixMCE is working in Win10/WMCv12
Keyboard and mouse seem to be a little iffy. Should I be using a remote with Netflix?

Using keyboard shortcuts on Netflix
Netflix allows you to control your viewing experience directly from your keyboard while watching on your computer browser. See below for a list of all Netflix-supported keyboard commands.
Space – Toggle Play/Pause
Enter – Toggle Play/Pause
PgUp – Play
PgDn – Pause
F – Full-screen
Esc – Exit full-screen
Shift+Left arrow – Rewind
Shift+Right arrow – Fast Forward
Up arrow – Volume Up
Down arrow – Volume Down
M – Mute toggle
I guess this will get me started....
EDIT..I see now. The kb shortcuts work while watching Netflix in Internet Explorer. Some do and some don't while watching in NetflixMCE

I'm just trying out this app. When I'm in Media Center and click on the NetFlix icon it appears on the wrong monitor
I have a standard monitor connected to my MC machine as well as a flatscreen TV. Yet when I click on the app it starts up on the monitor - not the flatscreen. I can't seem to figure out how to get it to display on the flatscreen as Media Center does.
Any ideas?

Which screen is set to primary?
Extended or Cloned?
In WMC Setup Display, which screen was decided on for WMC to use?

Which screen is the Primary?
What type of connection do they both have HDMI? DVI? VGA? etc
What Video Adapter in the HTPC?
One last question...Is WMC running in full screen on the TV, when you try the Netflix plugin?

The TV is on HDMI
Windows Media Center is full-screen on the TV when I run the NetFlix plug-in

I read somewhere in this NetflixMCE (nfmce) info, that nfmce follows a full screen WMC. Obviously it doesnt follow across DVI-HDMI (in the GTX) and/or follow to Secondary.
I have been experimenting with Actual Multiple Monitors (AMM) lately, it seems to be capable of somehow breaking some of the rules. It just might be able to control this problem. One rule it broke for me was I am now able to move the mouse between screens (even when WMC is in full screen). I use AMM to view two full screen WMC RDP sessions at the same time on my dual monitor setup. Plus, I use it to divide my monitors also. Still no luck with full screen in a divided monitor.
One of the features that may apply to you is.... in the configuration you can "set" which window goes where. If you dont feel like experimenting, they also have a well supported forum, supported by their developers.
Here is a quick peek on their advertised features...
Get fully functional taskbar with Start menu and system tray on each monitor
Quickly move windows between monitors
Set its own wallpaper and screensaver on each monitor
Play a game on one monitor and chat, surf web, etc. on others
http://www.actualtools.com/multiplemonitors/
SoapdishBandit has a similar setup as you...maybe he can offer some suggestions as well.
Another idea, and this might not work, is to make the TV the Primary with FullScreen WMC and NFMCE just might follow to the TV. You would still need AMM to extend the taskbar and Start Menu over to the DVI PC Screen.
AMM has a 30 day trial then the Nag Screen, 24 bucks to register.

So I downloaded both the Netflix and Amazon plugin a couple of days ago. I'm having trouble with the Amazon plugging playing actual videos and came back hear this morning and noticed that the sharepoint site that had both plugins is no longer active. What gives?

That doesn't surprise me. I kinda got that dying feeling about this plug-in when I learned it would not display on a multi-monitor setup. That seemed like a pretty foundational aspect to making a Media Center plugin to me at the time.

Hi All -
New Registered member but have frequented the site many times. I'm having an issue here and am wondering if I'm missing something. I've installed this GREAT app on 2 HTPC's I have - one works with my Harmony 880 remote with no issues and the other has problems (same remote - Harmony 880). When I click the Netflix the app with my Harmony, it will take my to the landing page with out issue (I have IE running in the background already logged into Netflix). It shows I have some items in queue (was testing some) but when I use the Harmony remote to try and navigate around the page - no matter what button I press, it takes me back to WMC main menu. My Harmony works perfect for everything else in WMC, even using Emby to navigate to my Movies and TV shows. Its just Netflix app it goes wonky. Now if I use a Mouse/Keyboard when in the Netflix app - everything is GOOD, can click around and select things.
Is there something I'm missing here? Like I said, the other HTPC works perfect but it is located in a secondary room. The HTPC I want this to work in is in our Main room and needs to make the BOSS (if you know what I mean - lol) happy.
Thanks,
Toys

Does anyone know if it supports having two monitors connected to your Media Center computer?
ie, regular computer monitor where Media Center displays on the TV?
The last I tried the mod it could only display on one screen no matter how many you had.
