Madeformediacenter.com logon issue

#1

Post by foltster » Mon Nov 03, 2014 9:48 pm

Hello,

Can anyone else login to madeformediacenter.com? I can't seem to get it to work for me. I have tried my old working account and tried to create new one without success.

I have confirmed my password but cannot logon and I really want to download the espn3wmc plugin.

Thanks,
F

Which web browser are you using?

You may want to try another browser. If I recall, either IE or Chrome would not work (can't remember which one right now), so I had to use the other one of the two.

I tried Safari, firefox, Chrome. Didn't get a chance to try IE yet.

It looks like the madeformediacenter site might be going away, listen to tdl podcast #473 for details.

We'd be silly to pretend that MC isn't a "yesterdays" technology, but I still believe that it has a future (even after moving to Mediaportal for my day to day DVR duties - due to its multiple recordings per transponder abilities!)

I still remain a major fan of Media Center - in a big part due to the fact that many people (US folks mainly) have very limited options.

Media Center is still the ONLY solution for cable users state side these days if they don't want to put up with the STB "solutions" foisted upon them by the big players (and Tivo - I guess).

I'm blessed. I don't pay for a DVR service - yes, I pay a TV licence, but it let's me watch my TV shows and recordings on whatever device I like, whenever I like.

Come the revolution!

Bring on Media Center 2.0

Or not......... :'(

I still have a place in our home for MediaClunker ;) Granted it's now only used for cable TV viewing which is about 40% of our overall usage (steadily falling).

It's served us well for many years since XP. I suppose you could say its part of my psyche and a member of the family :D

Yeah it really sucks that they encouraged so many of the plugins to distribute through them and then just disappear.

Ian did help me login a few months ago but it quit working the next day.

Oh well.

MC is still the only thing that has attainted WAF.
